Art for all.

 

At present Hannah is exploring the intersection of anatomy, natural elements, repetitive mark-marking, portraits and the way women have been conditioned to ‘take everything with a smile’ - through 2-D mixed media.

 

Hannah Grace Lilly is an artist using watercolor, water-soluble crayons, painting, drawing, hand-sewing, collage and many other mixed media. 
From New York City studying directing/ playwriting, to co-teaching a playwriting course at Sing Sing Maximum Security Correctional Facility, to England for an Masters of Arts in Applied Theatre (focusing in prisons), to Kathmandu Nepal teaching International Baccalaureate Theatre Studies at the Diploma Programme Level, to San Francisco and work on a Memory Care Unit followed by teaching visual arts at an art studio for adults with developmental disabilities to Michigan to volunteer at Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility co-teaching visual arts- Hannah has always had at the forefront that the creative arts can help, heal, inspire and bring people together. Currently, Lilly works at PASC (Progressive Art Studio Collective), part of STEP as an art advisor working again with adults with disabilities. She is happy to be continuing a life goal of helping to make art accessible to all.
